My good friend Aine is getting married this coming Saturday

and i couldnt let this opportunity go without wishing her a big GOOD LUCK here on my blog!

We had a lovely night out on Saturday to celebrate and here is a snap of us!

Crafty bits

Few bits & pieces to show you.

I finished my "B" & "C" layouts for the A-Z journal (It's a creative world)

Also i attended a fabby class at Steph's (Forget-me-not crafts) last week and got myself carried away with inks!! Angela was our teacher for the day (and fab she was!)

We altered tags with different altered techniques (distressing/embossing/etc) which i have to admit i really enjoyed ... here is what i made

We then made a mini book with the Basic Grey Mellow range

- can't wait to fill it with snaps now!

It's a Creative World

So here is my first layout in my A-Z book. The challenge has been set by the girls over at It's a Creative World (see link on right hand side) who will prompt me each fortnight with a letter and some examples.

As i may have told you, Josh's snowman cards were entered into a prize draw on It's a Creative World and he won! He got his prize yesterday and he was so excited he started colouring right there on the living room floor! lol!

He was so pleased with his very genrous prize - so BIG THANK YOU to all you girls at It's a Creative World!!!!!

It's official

We decided to measure just how much snowfall we had - nearly 3 inches by the looks of it.

(we did escape lightly compared to most of N.Ireland thought!)

And whilst we were doing that - Josh thought he'd escape again & eat the snow!

Snowday!

Josh was well pleased today, we awoke to a blanket of crisp snow this morning and finding out his school has been closed for the day.... so off he runs to get his winter woolies on and dragged his daddy out to play!
